For the second year in a row, the Pere Tarres Youth Hostel (www.peretarre.org/alberg) in Barcelona has had its UNE EN ISO 9001:2000 quality certification renewed by TÜV International. This standard certifies that the planning and delivery of accommodation, food services and meeting facilities are appropriate for the activities of a youth hostel.

The Pere Tarrés Youth Hostel is one of the few youth hostels in Spain to have this quality certification, which demonstrates the commitment of all those who work there to providing the hostel's guests with premium quality, customer-driven service.

The Pere Tarrés Youth Hostel is a member of the International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF) and the Red Española de Albergues Juveniles (REAJ - Spanish Youth Hostels Network).
